vizio led panel replacement

Vizio was nice enough to tell me its the TV and they have no responsibilty - I was referred to ITI and they want $440 to replace the video board. If I reset the factory settings it actually goes away for a while. I have talked to vizio 5 times and also had my cable line re-run to my house and a new box installed - problem is still there. I am having some issues with muddy colors on the screen (typically when going from dark to light scenes or vice versa). Posted on Wednesday, Decem02:12 GMTWhat a great board this is - so far I have been saved from throwing either myself or my P50 out the window. I wis everyone on here the best of luck dealing with Vizio, and hope somehow you all get them to do what they need to do to stand behind their products. I'll keep posting the progress and how it goes w/ the repair. It just seems like the power oards on these are defective and the company is actually doing the right thing and stepping up to fix their bad board. I am more then impressed with Vizio right now! I'm not "counting my chicks before they hatch" but they are supost to have a guy here w/in the next 3-5 days.and I've had this set for 1.5 years, no extended warrenty! Low and behold they are fixing it in-home and covering 100% of the cost to do this!!!! But yesterday I decided to call up Vizio and see what they would do. Well, I figured since the warrenty was out that I would be SOL. Other than the on-off-on-off-on crap the set is great, perfect picture, and perfect everything else. I have the 32" Plasma, and abut 2-3 months after warrenty expired it started doing the click on/off/on/off stuff when you first turn it on. Posted on Saturday, Novem19:41 GMTHello all! I'm new to this forum, but found it b/c I have same Vizio issues as a lot of you all. I am ready to order parts!! just need to know what to order.Īny input is appreciated - unless it is a comment about my low IQ LCD is backlit - never any display - no menu/input/volume as well as not avtual cable dox receiver display. Push power on remote or side panel turns VIZIO white as expected. Unplugged it and Amber VIZIO illuminated. Screen stayed back lit but picture was lost accompanied by a "whistling" noise for about 15 seconds. Screen flickered for a moment - not good. My problem - which does sound exactly like the last post above - started like this I was thinking more of the main board but Im just not that bright I can find the parts but I need confirmation of this. Uncanny.would have been even better if someone had followed up with the fix!! I am hearing that it is the LCD think I have 2 of these in the GV52LF Vizio 52".maybe the 42 and others too. Posted on Monday, 15:57 GMT52" VIZIO problem - WOW.the very last post I just read and this is the exact same problem I have.
